Consumer browsing on mobiles increased by 34% in February 2018, according to Retail Excellence’s eCommerce Dashboard Report.
Mobile conversion rates increased by 13% with the average quantity ordered across all devices (desktop, mobile and tablet) increasing by 15% YOY, when compared to the same period last year.
“Retail is becoming increasingly boundaryless and we need to embrace omnichannel opportunities in order to reach out to consumers both within Ireland and further afield,” said David Campbell, ecommerce manager at Retail Excellence.
“With over €600 billion expected to be spent by European consumers online in 2018 it is clear that retail is now a huge global opportunity for retail entrepreneurs.”
