Uldouz Wallace was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Stockholm Sweden when she was 5 years old. She studied marketing at Stockholm University and then decided to study abroad and continued her education at San Diego State University, and then later in Vancouver, Canada. In the end, Wallace earned a master’s degree in marketing and learned to speak three languages fluently: Persian, Swedish and English. Now, she’s a social media superstar.

With more than 4.7 million followers on Instagram alone, and more than seven million combined on all social media channels, Wallace has leveraged that social media fame to open up several entrepreneurial doors.

Wallace launched her own social media marketing agency after completing her master’s, helping brands and individuals leverage the power of social media while building her own personal brand. I was first introduced to Wallace through mutual connections, and my influencer marketing agency has utilized her on several occasions for brands we run campaigns for. We sat down and discussed what contributed to her social media success, and the following five points were identified.

Collaborate And Leverage The Exposure From Other Successful Accounts

Growing a social media profile to nearly five million followers organically is not a simple task, and there isn’t a concrete game plan to follow. It took Wallace several years of hard work and content production to reach her current status.

“I built my following through collaborations with various YouTube and Vine stars, Instagram influencers, music artists, actors and models. The exposure I received through these collaborations helped me build a solid foundation of followers that I could then directly engage with through my social profiles,” says Wallace.
