He may be the manufacturer of premium high-performance superbikes, but Ajinkya Firodia, MD of Motoroyale, MV Agusta India, confesses that he isn’t a great biker. That, however, doesn’t get in the way of the 37-year-old third-generation entrepreneur going full throttle – with his tech that is.
Firodia, the son of Kinetic Group chairman Arun Firodia, holds economic and engineering degrees from Brown University in the US. And like his bikes, he wants his devices fast and high on power. He gives an insight into the tech that keep him on track:
“I am currently using an iPhone 7. I am addicted to iPhones and have always had one. The camera is brilliant, it is userfriendly and fast, which makes me love it more.”
I use a MacBook Pro. I am an IBM guy and trained on it while I worked at JP Morgan when I was just starting out.”
“I currently have a Samsung television in my house. But since I am a movie buff, I also have a projector room where I can watch movies on the big screen.”
Apps I count on
“I use the Notes App as I have to keep a lot of things in mind. The alarm helps me organise and manage my day better.”
“I use social media apps the most as it is great for motorcycles and marketing. Instagram is my favourite, I love it. I use Facebook as well, but am not much of a Twitter guy. The bikes you see on social media are so beautiful and the pictures look great. These pages have a large following and you really don’t have to think much, just put up a picture and you have 50 million followers.”
“I connect my smartphone to a Brookstone speaker and I carry it everywhere. It has a smiley face, which is very cute.”
“I used to wear Fitbit earlier, but stopped using it because my phone tells me everything now. I just use my phone to give me the data that a fi tness band would. I am not much of a watch person, so I like my hands to be free of anything.
