Nissan India has launched a suite of connectivity services, called Nissan Connect, which offers a host of convenience, navigation and safety features.
The features are accessible via a smartphone application, which is available on Android, iOS and Windows platforms for Nissan customers.
The Nissan Connect app packs features like service booking alert, document wallet, fuel log and service history. Customers can also locate nearby fuel stations, Nissan dealerships, service stations and book car services in advance.
The connected services also include safety features such as speed alert, where customers can activate curfew, max speed, and boundary alerts on the app, and get notifications if set limits are exceeded. There’s even a geofencing alert, which notifies the owner when the vehicle moves out of a set boundary area.
Nissan also offers roadside assistance in case of an emergency or vehicle breakdown.
Nissan joins carmakers such as Toyota and Honda, who have rolled out similar services accessible through a smartphone application.
